Most of you are probably too young or cool to have ever read a newspaper but yesterday, Sunday October 14th you would of missed out!

Had you caught a glimpse of one in particular, The Toronto Star, you would of seen that Olympia Sports Camp made it on to the front page of the Sports section, above the Maple Leafs!

It was a special moment in Olympia’s history as the Toronto Star posted an article on Danny Green, Toronto Raptor, the less mentioned participant of the Demar Derozan blockbuster trade, and his time spent at Olympia Sports Camp.

The article ends with: “When I got the call that I was traded, I said, ‘oh, that sucks,’” Green recalled. “Then they said it was to Toronto. I thought, well, I can’t complain about that one.”

And for those that have been to Olympia or will be joining us next year, we all know the real reason for this – he is part of the Olympia Sports Camp Family.
