Leadership is any action that enables any individual (or group of individuals) to move toward the accomplishment of their goals.
Peer support is the conscious directing of one’s life in accordance with one’s values and goals, in order to assist and support others.
This program integrates theoretical and experiential learning of leadership and life management skills. Participants explore their relationships with self and others and build their sense of self-worth and community spirit through effective communication skills, self-coaching, challenge fitness skills, learn to learn skills, awareness training, performance enhancement skills, group dynamics, decision-making strategies, resource management and an appreciation of the environment and personal well-being.
